I met Dennis in person for the 1st time at last years awesome Wave Rock Weekender, and had the great pleasure of having a good chat to him & listening to him praise the fest & his pleasure in having it there. Plus observing him working hard, enjoying the fest & the people who came to it, and sharing the place he loved so much!

I was so sad when i heard this news and my heart goes out to his beautiful wife, each year i have been to the festival Denis has always been a presence that is unmistakable.

Extremely sad news to one of life’s genuine articles, I knew Dennis well and had the pleasure of working along side him.

My sincerest condolences to Sheegnah on the sudden passing of her much loved husband and dear friend to so many of us in the tourism game.

He will never be forgotten by me nor the hundreds if not thousands of people he has helped throughout his life.

A sad time for Hyden, and Tourism but above all for Sheegnah

RIP Big Fella, see you up there one day for “One off the Wood” and for 9 holes!

I have only known Dennis for short time ( I am one of the Ex Army blokes that is helping out building the out door amphitheatre) . I know I speak on behalf of all the ex Army blokes in saying that he was a great bloke and a real Aussie. He will be missed by us all. Please pass on my sincerest condolences to Dennis lovely wife and family.
