Timetable

Once it's finalised, you'll be able find an up to date, downloadable timetable of playing locations and times for all the artists appearing at the Wave Rock Weekender on the Program page of www.soulhighway.com.au. The timetable is a guide; it will be updated as artists are added, and may change at the show due to a number of variables.

Music

It is important to us that we program acts that understand what the Wave Rock Weekender is all about. The bands playing at Wave Rock are often doing so for less money than they would normally earn and are going out of their way to play for us. The reason they come along is because they like the opportunity to play to discerning people in an inspirational location and they support our environmental and artistic vision. Make sure you let them know how much you appreciate them making the effort...these are artists not pretenders.

Saturday's line up starts after we open the event with the grand final telecast and is cerebral music played for you and not at you that will help you settle in to the weird and wonderful terrain around the rock. Blues, roots, rock, pop, art-rock, country music and more.

This is no English country garden festival or sports oval event...this is a weekend long experience on the edge of the desert in Western Australia; prehistoric rock formations, eerie salt plains, shiny salmon gums, wildflowers and big, big sky. Let the music bring it alive.

On Sunday we build up from Saturday's inspirational artistic base to ramp up into a party to end all parties. We start nice and easy with soloists to gently tug you in from the surrounding camp areas into what feels like the greatest Sunday session on earth and roll through soul, blues, roots, dub and reggae to beats, breaks, hip-hop and more.

Information and links for all confirmed artists appearing at the Wave Rock Weekender will be posted on the Program page of www.soulhighway.com.au . This information will be updated as artists are added. All artists listed are confirmed, but the program may be subject to change due to cancellation.

Film

The Wave Rock Weekender Cinema will show a unique and enlightened program of arthouse, environmental, desert-themed, and classic films, 24 hours a day for the duration of the event. Western Australian made short films will be also featured.

The cinema is indoors, and you'll be able to sit on a bean bag and eat lollies while you enjoy the film feast.
